PROJECT TYPE: Strategic Plan Document

BRIEF: I previously worked with Cruinn Associates on mutually productive projects and they contacted me to design a 32 page Strategic Plan for Dublin Community co-op. This report was sizeable, so had to be easy to read, in particular for data-heavy display areas – it also needed to reflect their very localised range of community services, including photography, used throughout the document.

SOLUTION: The Obviously for a document of this size a lot of time was spent on crafting the overall typography styles, including some large tables of data across double page spreads. But I wanted to bring in a very authentic feel for the images used throughout the report, and for this I contacted called Alan Harrison, a photographer I knew in Dublin (through Instagram). Alan is an excellent and prolific photographer, specialising in street style images, featuring the city in a very authentic style, and typically shot in stunning light. Alan’s images worked really well and were perfect for the Dublin City Community Co-Op report.
